What types of trips can I book through LMN Travel?

We do it all--whether you're seeking a simple hotel booking, an unforgettable honeymoon, a memorable family or group trip, an exciting bachelor or bachelorette weekend, or assistance with arranging wedding guest room blocks, we are here to make it happen. Beyond that, we specialize in crafting extraordinary experiences like cruises, villa and yacht charters, and corporate incentive trips, designed to leave a lasting impression.

Why do you charge a planning fee?

Transparency is paramount to us, and we want to be upfront about our planning process.

We charge an up-front, nonrefundable planning fee, which allows us to dedicate the necessary time, expertise, and resources, while leveraging our valuable relationships to craft a trip tailored specifically to your tastes and budget.

Our planning fee will be determined after the initial call and will vary depending on the complexity of the trip; however, if you're looking for a simple hotel booking and would like to receive exclusive perks and amenities, we do not charge a planning fee (exceptions apply) and can secure your reservation, ensuring you receive the added benefits that make your stay truly special. It's important to note that we prioritize clients who value the experience and are focused on the overall value of their trip, rather than solely on cost. Our expertise lies in curating luxury and personalized experiences, and we are not specialized in low-budget travel.

What is the difference between a travel agent and a travel advisor?

Although “agent” and “advisor” are often used interchangeably, a travel advisor typically takes a more consultative approach to trip planning, going beyond just the transactional “agent role” of booking flights and hotels.

An advisor focuses on understanding the unique preferences and needs of their clients and curates personalized itineraries that cater specifically to those desires.

I add the most value to my clients when planning an entire trip, from the flights to accommodations, transportation, vetted guides and activities, etc–especially when focusing on high end travel.

The agency I’m affiliated with has an extensive network of premiere travel partners globally, and I’m able to leverage those relationships to create experiences that would be difficult or time intensive to find on your own.

Can I use points to book my trip with you?

We are unable to book travel using credit card points or airline miles. Please make us aware, at the initial planning stage, if you plan to book any portion of your trip using points (aside from flights), and we’ll assess a custom fee.

 

Can't I get the same amenities booking through AMEX Travel?

When working with us, as your dedicated travel advisors, the main difference lies in the personal and human relationship you'll experience throughout your journey.

 

Unlike AMEX Travel, working with us means we understand your unique needs, preferences, and travel aspirations. This personalized approach allows us to anticipate your requests, tailor every aspect of your trip to your liking, and ensure that your experience is seamless.

 

This level of understanding enables us to recommend the perfect destinations, hotels, and experiences that align with your interests, ensuring your trip is personalized to you.

 

While AMEX Travel offers similar perks and amenities, if the hotel is one of our many preferred partners, our clients get prioritized over all bookings at the hotel, including those made via AMEX Travel or other programs. These might include special access to unique experiences, personalized touches at hotels, and VIP treatment throughout your journey. Moreover, we take care of every detail, reconfirming your reservations before your arrival, and making sure you are well taken care of throughout your trip. In essence, the difference is that with us as your advisors, you gain a personal advocate and someone who is genuinely invested in your travel experience.

Do you have a minimum budget required to plan our trip?

No minimum budget required. However, it's important to note that we exclusively work within a scope of 4-5 star hotels, luxury villas and charters, and highly-vetted suppliers and tour operators. This approach ensures that we maintain the highest standards of quality and service for our clients.

What if I change my mind after the itinerary is completed?

We understand that plans can evolve, and we want you to feel empowered to make changes to your itinerary. Your trip is entirely in your hands, and we are here to accommodate any modifications that suit your preferences.

However, it's important to note that our team invests significant time and effort in creating your custom itinerary, ensuring it aligns perfectly with your desires and needs. If you decide to make substantial changes after the initial itinerary is completed, a nominal additional itinerary design fee will be required to compensate for the time and resources spent in restarting the planning process.

To avoid any inconvenience, we encourage open communication and collaboration throughout the planning process. If you have any preferences or changes in mind, let us know as early as possible, and we'll work together to incorporate them seamlessly into your itinerary.

We always recommend travel insurance in order to protect your investment should unexpected travel disruptions arise.
